Hey Scotty I love your videos . Last year I bought a Honda Accord and I am in love with this car no issues. Before I got this Honda I had a 2008 Chevy Malibu i replaced the engine and sold it . Now I have a Honda Accord and I wanna buy a Chevy Camaro now.
Let me know if it’s a grate idea to buy this ?
it is a 2015 Chevy Camaro ls with 115,000 miles and no issues YET. guy is asking 6k would it be a good purchase in my end ?
the V6 LFX engine isn't a very good engine...if you're going to look at a 5th gen camaro, then look at the SS Camaro's with the LS3 V8's. But even then be leary as most V8 muscle cars usually get driven hard. Stick with your Accord
I would not recommend it. My experience working on those cars tells me you're almost guaranteed to have either electrical problems or issues with oil consumption, especially at high mileage.
They build those cars for fun daily drivers, not for longevity. I wouldn't even consider an SS Camaro with that mileage as you'd be risking the same electrical problems. Keep what you have. The Camaro looks cool, but that's where it stops.
Looks only go so far.
Exactly
No.
If u don’t mind me asking . Why is that ?
Let's talk about the engine: It has LFX engine which is notorious for oil consumption. Also, the water pump failure on those.
@Mod_Man as an expert can give you his honest opinion on this car.
Ard thank you .
Also, expect electrical issues (gremlins) with that mileage. GM quality has been on a decline for a while now and you’d be purchasing a money pit that’s out of warranty. I would pass on it.

NOT!
Depends on what you value most in a car, generally speaking not many cars will outlast an accord, including this Camaro. So if reliability and lack of maintenance ($$$) are what you value the most, stick with the honda. If you want something more fun to drive and a little more maintenance isnt a concern of yours, consider the camaro (it wont hurt your wallet as much as a german car, but an accord still will cost less over time). Now its a V6, youre going to get flack for having a V6 and not a V8, however alot of people who buy V6 in the first place dont care about speed and dont abuse them (some still do). Do not buy it with the intention of modding. Ive seen some LFX hold up pretty decently, but comparing it to an accord, the accord still takes the cake. Ultimately have a good mechanic look thru it completely, the VVT system on those are complicated, I'd also probably walk away if they dont have adequate service records. Just understand the risk before buying it, good luck
