Scotty please help! I have a 2015 Chevy City Express with 103,000 miles. Just bought it used. When its night and I put the headlights on, some of the a/c dash lights are faint or not light at all. The a/c works fine. The dash dimmer switch works fine. Just the a/c temp switch and a/c fan switch are not illuminated at night. All of a sudden this happened!! A pain in the rear! Could it be bulbs in the dash or fuses or bad alternator?? Please advise. Kind Regards. Rex747 from Jacksonville, FL 🙂
you can find electrical schematics to help troubleshoot on gmupfitter.com
You can't always get what you want.
You don't have the experience to troubleshoot this. We don't have enough information to troubleshoot this. That means you'll have to take it to a mechanic.
My van is not a GM van because it is made by NISSAN(gmupfitter is worthless to me)you don't know what you are talking about...Dude you are not helpful and stop responding to my post!! Scotty can you please give me some guidance on fixing this. Scotty I posted this question for your response please.
Hello. I looked at gmupfitter website and it is not vehicle specific and very complicated and very confusing. I am not a professional mechanic just a layman looking for a simple fix please. 🙁 I really want a specific answer to my question please.
How about getting some new bulbs, DUDE? In life, there is no such thing as a "simple fix."
Ok thanks. Can you recommend the right tool to pry open the dash trim to get into behind the a/c switches to access the bulbs?
