2015 dodge charger v6 3.6
Car was in car accident motor turns but vehicle is in drive. How can i put it back in park to turn the vehicle on. I know there is a pull switch next to the shifter honestly i dont know if they tow guy might of pulled to hard and pull switch maybe lose. Just my theory. Any suggestions?? Thank you
Well if it's stuck and driving won't go into Park it can't be the system that locks it in place cuz it only locks it in park. Not in Drive. Now. I don't know how big your accident was, but if you look under the car you might find that the transmission range sensor on the transmission has been damaged where the cable goes down to shifted from gear to gear. And if that's broken, you'd have to replace the assembly and probably the cable too
I will definitely look into that! Damage is front in damage where im having to replace radiator,fans and condenser somebody work.Im going to put it all together and check for those things you mentioned. Thank you @scottykilmer
