I have a 2015 Ram 1500 with 209k miles, never have had any big issues, one evap pump part ($40: installed myself) and one tpm sensor ($35) never have serviced transmission and 5.7 hemi seems strong and reliable. How much am I living on borrowed time with the 8 speed transmission, seems to be shifting good. I feel like it would be very risky to change transmission fluid now. Btw for about the first 200k mile I changed the engine oil around 7-8k miles with conventional oil. Driving has probably been 65-70 percent highway miles and a lot of idling awhile waiting for my wife outside a casino...LOL...one good thing about COVID...she quit gambling! I enjoy your videos, thanks.

Congrats on getting over 200k miles. I think you are on the right track regarding changing transmission fluid. If it has not been done previously, probably good idea not to change fluid now. If it has been changed according to maintenance schedule, then keep doing it
Lots of highway miles on a 6 year old truck. Dodge has a great reputation for it's hemi engines. Other than melted cats and cracked exhaust manifolds they are near bulletproof. Trans may let you down soon but maybe not. Lots of miles in a short period of time doesn't hurt you so much. Run her till she slips and decide what you want to do. The big 3 want 60k for a new truck. A reman trans will set you back 4 k
