I’ve been fighting a losing battle with my 2015 Silverado. It runs hot for no reason when it has coolant and I change oil as specs require. I have 123k miles, it is now sitting due to it going into lemp mode and saying it’s overheating but it’s actually not . It shifts rough and has a new transmission, my tech2 says throttle body and did say o2 sensor which I already changed . I just replaced throttle body and it will crank up now and run for maybe 5 min but sound like it’s choking needing air . I just hope it’s not my ECM going bad . Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check for faulty temp sensor or wiring fault.

p1516 Communication throttle body communication issue. The truck ran like it had a bad throttle body position sensor which I haven’t checked . I checked my temp sensors also and wiring and all checked good with meter , engine running and off.
