Hello from New Mexico Scotty! My question is, is it necessary to change the filter on the transmission? I’m getting a lot of conflicting information about the filter. Some say because it’s not introduced by foreign containments constantly such as air or fuel it doesn’t need to be changed because it’s a sealed system. Some say to change filter every time you change the fluid.

Well they're not really filters they're just screens you can take it out and clean it and use it over if you want
