Hi, I recently bought a 2015 Xterra Pro 4x. I'm installing step rails but one of the bolts (six on each side) that you attach the rails to is rusted, the threads are rusted out and the outer half of the bolt is smooth, and I cannot get the nut on. Any thoughts? Or am I up the creek?

Well you can get reverse socket sets that will fit over that rounded out part. Tap it with a hammer, put the socket on and then usually you can get them to come out. You can also of course get a Dremel and slide it cut a slat and then use a screwdriver to get it off
