Hi Scotty! The adaptive cruise control on my 2016 Acura MDX stopped working, the vehicle has only 98000 km, the cruise control still works fine but the distance from my MDX to other vehicles is not being maintained. I've cleaned the radar device in the front grill but it hasn't resolved the issue, called the dealer but the vehicle is no longer covered under the warranty and these Canadian dealers have crazy prices. What should I do?

I’d live with it, or be prepared to get dragged over the coals as @mod_man mentions.
Use your brake pedal, like a car without this particular feature.
Even if my car did have this feature, I’d probably never use it as I wouldn’t want to fully trust my life with technology..
Unfortunately nothing about those laser systems is a DIY repair. You can ask if there's a software update for your vehicle, but more than likely you'll need to bring it to a mechanic to have it repaired.
