The rear side marker light is out. I removed the tail light assembly and pulled the panel with the 4 bayonet base 1057LF bulbs, but the side parking light has two wires going towards the enclosure that houses the light. There seems to be no way to access the light! I took the chrome trim ring off and the light is sealed.
Is this a non-replaceable light? An LED from the factory that isn't serviceable? I'm considering "dremmeling" access to it as a $300 replacement housing over a $1 bulb or LED is out of the question 🙁
I'm convinced the Fiat 500x is the least documented vehicle ever made and uses parts that are impossible to find (such as a GE 1057LF bulb!)
Thanks in advance if anyone has any tips or tricks, I'd really appreciate it!
Okay, it is an LED and either you're stuck with buying the assembly from Fiat or if there's any way you can take it apart solder an LED replacement
@scottykilmer Thank you so much from Chattanooga, TN! 🙂
