I was looking at a jeep for sale and the salesman told me it has a cvt transmission, but it has the autostick feature. I thought cvt’s don’t have gears so how can it have both?

Well they have this sort of fake way to in quotation marks shift it it's still a CVT transmission they just fake gear shifts by changing power dynamics
Thanks. I’m guessing since it’s a Chrysler product it’s not a reliable cvt?

my G F has one, it's a 4x4 and has a 6 speed conventional auto trans
