2016 Lancer good?

Hey, I found a 2016 Mitsubishi Lancer with 36k miles for $8.5k. It has hail damage on the hood and roof but that’s all that’s wrong with the car. It’s a 5 speed manual. I don’t know what specific trim it is but it has the rear wing which came stock (if that helps).

I’m looking for a car I can have fun driving on curvy roads but also drive like a daily. Would it be a good car for my purposes? Thanks

Please don’t double post, thanks.

Do not buy. Once they reach 100k miles, they cost a fortune as they age.

Overtime they're pretty crappy cars and when it's been damaged and they want that kind of money I'd walk because Toyota's and Hondas are so much better

Alrighty thanks. I’ll keep looking for a Honda or Toyota

It can be fun with a manual, but it’s way overpriced.

With hail damage, check if it has a clean title. If it does, and if a professional mechanic says it’s in good shape otherwise, offer $5000 and see what happens.

Mitsubishi made pretty good WW2 fighter planes, their cars? not so good
