[Solved] 2016 Toyota Camry Oil Pan

I have a 2016 Toyota Camry with 72,000 miles. Recently I think I may have hit a speed bump pretty hard, and now I have a dent in my oil pan (a good sized one at that). However, it’s not leaking any oil and seems to continue to drive just as normal as before. If it was the speed bump that did it, this was over 1-2 weeks ago.

Should I worry about replacing the oil pan, or is it just a cosmetic thing and I could live with it? I just had the oil changed at the dealer and they mentioned the dent in the pan. That’s how I found out about it.

Yeah, it sure looks like you're losing oil out of the pan or its gasket - you should have that fixed. Have them look at the suspension, steering, examine the wheels for dents, etc.

It's hard to evaluate a dent without seeing it = perhaps you could post a picture? (go to imgur and post the link they give you).

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to have someone look to see that nothing else was dented/bent/broken.
