Hi Scotty,
I'm interested in a 2016 Sequoia being offered at a dealership in Dallas Texas. I live in Florida and want to have a mechanic to go and check it out for me. Thinking about hiring one of the pre purchase car inspection companies like Pomcar ($195) or Lemonsquad ($169). Pomcar states they offer a 270 point inspection whereas Lemonsquad doesn't mention their points although their inspection list is much longer than Pomcar. Lemonsquad states they offer computer diagnostics of engine, transmission, ABS, and air-bag to mention a few. My question is, who would you recommend? Any advise on shipping to Florida? Thanks
There are a TON of clean examples of Sequoias in FL. Just gotta look around, look for a private owner who barely drove it. (again lots out there)
Buying a car out of state is not the best thing. You need to see the car in front of you. If this was an exotic rare car, that's a different story.
During transit, 7/10 times the cars are damaged. Seen it too many times.

Thanks for your reply. I've been looking since May and haven't been able to find anything with specs I want in my price range. Any suggestions where else I might look besides the Classifieds, Craigslist, Nextdoor, Southflorida Cars & Trucks, Marketplace, and Autotrader? I'm not crazy about transit either.
Offerup, auto trader, cars.com, etc. Ask around as well. Just be extra careful of scams and roll back odometers.
