2017 Nissan NV200 60,000 miles- A/T No start, no instrument lights, computer will not talk to diagnostic tool

Thank you to all who read this. Parked van, out for 1 hour, returned and vehicle would not start.  Initially had instrument lights (for seconds) but they went out except the anti theft light.

Battery good.  D/Tool and computer not communicating even after cleaning.

Headlights/hazard lights, door chime, dome light, anti theft all work.  Checked some fuses including the one on the battery cables, although the one on the negative looks older.  I am contemplating either shaving my head with a cheese grater or chewing on a wad of tin foil at this point.  I really appreciate any insight/ideas. I am (by necessity) a DIY guy with enough tools to get myself into trouble but my resources for getting out of trouble are growing! Again, many thanks!
