I have a 2017 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi 100,000km I want to change the rear diff fluid, manual calls for 75w-140 dealer running my vin states that as per my vin my diff requires 75w-90
which do I go for? And why a discrepancy between manual and dealer? I don’t have limited slip rear just conventional.

The people who manufactured your vehicle recommend -
Mopar Synthetic Gear Lubricant 75w140 (MS-8985). The dealer is just lazy and cheap, as usual.
