Just purchased a 17 RAV4 for my wife. Manufactured in Canada. Has 58k mi, I’ve been all over the internet searching all the information I can already but here I get real people telling me real experience and better information than anything I’d find on the internet. Do the Canada RAVs hold up like the Japanese manufactured ones? I’ve always been impressed with the quality of motors that come out from up there. My 5.0 in my F150 is rock solid. How’s that 2.5 in it? Oil burner at all or overall reliable? The only thing I seem to find problem wise is some people reported a jerky transmission but I’d like to hear from all of you.
Scotty specifically answered this in a video a few days ago.
Answer is they're good.
@mmj thanks for letting me know, I’ll check it out.
@mmj do you know the title of the video by chance?
no sorry. I'm pretty sure it was this week.
He didn't really say a whole lot other than he thinks they're good.
I've heard him say it many times before too.
No worries, again I appreciate it 👍 @mmj
