In your option would performance coils increase HP and gas mileage on my 2017 Tacoma with 45k. RIPP has a coil pack that even in a non -supercharged engine will increase performance. Thoughts? Thank you in advance. You do good work for good people.

Coils are simple transformers that take alternator voltage and boost it to about 25,000 volts to fire the spark plugs. Whether "performance coils" actually do anything is debatable.
Performance coils are only necessary if your original equipment ones are crap - I had a Yamaha with crappy coils, and putting in better ones helped it start and idle better. In my experience, the OEM Toyota ones are fine.
Now, if you were adding a supercharger, NOx or such, then you might want to upgrade.
