- I'm considering purchasing a Challenger. That was until I saw your bit on Caravans. Yes, it was manufactured in Canada. Yes, it has a V6. Most likely it is a LLC. Scotty, should I stay away from 2018 Challengers in general?

Unfortunately yes you should stay away. They are awesome looking cars, but the quality is terrible on them. Those PentaStar V6 engines are particularly bad.

Yes, I would stay away, esp. as a daily driver and you plan to put lots of mileage on it. Even though some of their powertrains are pretty solid, you still have overall FCA quality issues to deal with overtime. The only way I would get into a Challenger is through a lease and under warranty, then give back before the bumper to bumper warranty is up.
DO NOT BUY! Dodges are horrible horrible cars, honestly if you want a car to last, get a Toyota or a Honda! Or heck to a Lexus I'd you have that kind of money to get a Challenger! Reliability ALWAYS comes first my friend, spend I wisely. Dodges make the worst vehicles ever! And no one listens...Stay away and buy a Lexus, Toyota or a Honda
