2018 Ecoboost longevity

Scotty, I have a F-150 with a 2.7 ecoboost, these engines now have port and direct injection. The block is also the same material as the power stroke diesels and is supposed to have better head bolts and heads. Do you think these engines will last being built like this?

Those ecoboost engines get a little bit better each year but the bottom line is that they are not built to last a long time. They are time bombs when they reach 100,000 miles and some don't last half that long.

Since I like my cars to last forever, I won't own an ecoboost out of warranty.
