Hi Scotty, thank you for your service! Have a 2018 CR-V EX-L bought in August 2018. I live in FL. At 500 miles, I had severe oil dilution, half inch above full. Honda looked at it and said drive it longer & harder. Local dealer refused to do software upgrade because they said I am not in a cold weather state. Recently I convinced a Honda dealer one hour away to do the software upgrade and it worked! No more oil dilution. You always say small turbo engines with GDI don't last long. So would I be better off driving it easy, in ECO mode and low revs, or kicking in the turbo and driving it hard like Honda told me to do to keep the carbon out? Thank you so much!
