Scotty,,looking at a 2018 MB S450 with 15,000 mi from a dealer. Asking $61,000. Wife has wanted a luxury car for a long time. We have 2018 Highlander which we are keeping for everyday use which is not much. Thanks
Don’t waste your money, get a Lexus instead......
Take your wife to a Lexus dealer and buy a RX350. Both of you will be much happier with it.
Price out the maintenance on that car.
Then go to a Lexus dealer and check on some used LS models. Test drive it and see what you think. Maybe you'll like it. If you still like the Mercedes best, it's your money. Just make sure you aren't purchasing it just for that "Mercedes" nameplate. All that tells most people is you like paying too much for sub-par quality vehicles.
Also remember that as all those gadgets on the Benz break, it will cost you a small fortune to get them repaired.
Just drive both, weigh the pros and cons, and make a good, informed decision is all I'm trying to say.

Or get the LS500 instead. If you’re gonna spend that much, might as well get something that won’t ruin your sanity, as it ages.
