2004 Toyota Corolla, 89 450 Kilometres,
getting to another year.. time for a oil change... this time I'm taking it to the mechanic shop to get it checked out professionally.
I usually do the oil and oil filter change but I want a inspection to see if the brakes needs any thing or the car needs anything to be safe..,
Question is last coolant change from memory was 2018... Do I also get the shop to do that.. cause the book saids only change oil and tighten the bolts..?
Also what should I or the shop look out for safety of the car to check.. last major service was late 2017 from shop. But I've been doing the engine oil change every year since.

Sure, a shop can change the coolant for you. You also can save money and change the coolant yourself. (Just make sure you have somewhere to dispose of that old fluid first) I would use the same type/color fluid that is in the car now. Toyota's recommendations for coolant changes are as follows:
Red coolant - needs to be changed every 30,000 miles or every 2 years.
Pink coolant - can last up to 100,000 miles or 10 years for the factory fill, then it needs to be changed every 60,000 miles or 5 years after that.
