I heard that the 2018’s are to stay away from.
How are the 2019 and 2020 Camrys? Are they good cars to buy?

Well they are pretty new so we do not know of long term problems but the 2018 had transmission issues and knowing Toyota they fixed it by 2019.
Better to wait though. Here are the common transmission issues for the 2018 model year, and click here for the 2019 model year.
As you can see 2019 had a lot less issues than 2018 and Toyota is known to fix issues that arise at the start of the generation pretty quickly.

They are good. If you want one they will last long since they are Toyotas.
