Hey I believe my high pressure fuel pump is getting bad. I changed my fuel pump in my gas tank 2 years ago when it went out, right now the engine still misfiring with all new spark plugs and coils. When the engine cold after leaving it alone for several hours it crank and starts normal, it still misfiring a little but after idling for like 10 mins the misfire and shaking of the engine gets worse and eventually it stalls out, tried to start it up afterwards. It cranked over normally but after like 4 to 5 secs it stall out again and keep doing that each time it starts up. I also noticed some kind of whining noise that randomly comes and go coming from the middle ish of the engine. Not sure if it's fuel injectors or high pressure fuel pump if it is high pressure fuel pump how much are they for a good one? Because I'm seeing and been giving all kinds of different prices from $200, 500s to 1,000

Well those pumps do go out all the time. Now. It is a very high pressure system and there's no way you can test it yourself. So find a mechanic like me with a very good scan tool. Our scan tools actually show the pressure the that pump is putting out by reading the computer analysis of the car itself, which knows the fuel pressure from sensors does. Now. The price varies often because depends on whether using an original equipment pump or an aftermarket one. Since Kia doesn't even make the pumps themselves, I would say you could buy the pump many different places at a lower price

@scottykilmer Thank you so much Scotty 😄. I been wrestling with this issue for 4 days now while still trying to get back and forward to work
