Hi, I found 2019 Lexus RX 350 for sale at dealership with about 16,000 miles that was used as a 'corporate fleet vehicle'. When I reviewed Carfax on this vehicle it shows that the oil was not changed at all in the first 16,000 miles. What do you think, should I stay away from buying cars like this one?
Thank you.
Car fax is not an indicator of maintenance record.....
Carfax may not necessarily have all the service listed there. What I’ve done in the past is go to https://drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrivers/resources/vehicle-specs
Then set up a free account and enter the VIN of that vehicle and you can look up the service history and in some cases it has more information than what is listed in Carfax. I’ve seen this numerous times. Try that. But otherwise, not a dealbreaker necessarily. Check the engine oil to see if clean or not.

If I were you, I would stay a way from a corporate fleet vehicle. Period. Those type of vehicles are used and abused beyond your imagination! Seriously, … during my working life, I always worked with companies that either had, or provided it’s staff with company cars and trucks - always leased vehicles. Most of those vehicles did not last, without a major failure, 24 months. Most of them needed thousands in repairs, few times over, … before returning them to a lessor. I mean thousands! And a service of these vehicles in the meantime? What service? What’s that?
Anyway, … and yes, sometimes a top executive would adopt one of those cars as if one of his own, … and use it exclusively and take care of it, … but that usually be a vehicle that would end up being bought at the lease end for a wife, or a spawn, … or a mistress! True, …

If it only has 16,000 miles I would not worry at all. There is TONS of life in that car.
