I put my car in neutral when idling if I’m at a train crossing or long line waiting. Is this bad? I know one of you videos suggests putting it in park under such circumstances. Thanks Scotty👍👍

If you’re going to leave it in N, be sure to set the parking brake as you don’t want your vehicle to roll away unintentionally and cause an accident.
It’s just easier to leave it in P and/or switch off the engine (weather permitting).
Thank you👍👍

Putting the car in P is safer and does not hurt the transmission.
