Bought a 2019 Toyota Tundra 1794 edition with the towing package. It says on the sticker that the towing package comes with engine and transmission coolers. Well I was getting ready to drain and fill transmission fluid and I find there is no transmission cooler. I went to the dealership they told me to kick rocks, basically. Ball Toyota Charleston, WV. Would love for you to give them a shout out or embarrass them your choice. Love your videos do all my own service since watching your videos. 2020 4Runner and 2019 Tundra trying to follow your advice. Keep up the great work.
Thanks a lot , Eric Fisher
Well I will give a shout out
Thanks might make a good topic for Scotty. The tundra had external transmission coolers till 2018 then dropped them in 2019. Same engine same transmission why don’t they still need them? I’d like my transmission to last as long as possible so correct temperatures are important. Maybe Toyota will answer Scotty they won’t give me any kind of answer. I reported to corporate they gave me some bologna that putting aftermarket parts on your Toyota might void the warranty well they had them on the 2018. I don’t know thanks for the quick response.
I've seen this question kicked around all over the internet. Videos have made about it.
Toyota decided the transmission doesn't need it. And it sounds like for 95% of people they're right.
