Hey Scotty,
My sister is looking at Street Volkswagen,
Within their used selection they have a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan with the 2.0 Turbo engine paired with the 8 speed auto. It only has 1673 miles on it. The dealer has a 6 Year warranty for anything that goes wrong and comes with maintenance for the 6 years free. It is $19,000. Should I know anything else other than the fact its turbo charged?
It got the warranty and if you have spending the money go for it .
After the warrant is out these car are known to cost alot if things go bad.
Don't expect to keep this car for decades with no major problems. If you plan that, look for something else with naturally aspirated engine.
I bought a 2016 Passat with turbo with 18,000 miles on it. Full synthetic oil changes every 7,000 miles. It drove like a dream until about 80,000 miles. Now it's consuming about 1 quart every 1,000 miles which is "normal" according to VW. It now has 96,000 miles and I just had to put a new in-tank fuel pump and control module in it for $1200 at the dealer.
If she's gonna get rid of it before it hits 75-80,000 miles go have fun. After that...$$$$$$
