2020 F250 7.3l at 38,000mi electrical system issue
Slow to crank w signs of low power behavior from the electrical stuff
OBD II - code check - no codes w engine off or running
Both batteries reading 10.7V
one of the batteries is significantly corroded, the other battery looks clean.
Under load, the alternator is putting out 14.4v and is exactly the same when checked at each of the two batteries.
I think alternator is ok based on proper output, but seems curious that both batteries are reading low at the same low value of 10.7v
Thoughts?
Go down to your auto parts store and have both batteries load tested, replace the dead ones.
Might as well load test the alternator . It's been overworked. Voltage is not a good enough inidicator. It has to be tested under load.
You should also clean up those battery cables terminals with some hot soapy water and brass wire brush. Since you get corrosion, put some dieletric grease on the new battery posts.
