Can I put smaller wheels on my Corolla

Hello Scotty

I hate the low profile 18 wheel on my 2020 Toyota corolla SE 2.0 L CVT ( p225/40R18) always rubbing against curbs all the wheels are torn up along with the tires. Only has 25,000 miles. Can I get 16 inch wheels with a bigger tire so I have regular tires. Every where I search online it looks like you cannot. But then a Guy from Canada says they come standard on the SE there because of the snow. What do you think ?

PS thanks for all the valuable info you give out Your the best

try it, but it may not have enough room for the brakes or other steering/suspension components.

Use a tire size calculator to make sure the final diameter matches what you have now.

You should learn not to hit curbs.

If I had not given my right eye to my country in Nam I probably could avoid the curbs better debt perception is a little off but thanks for the driving advice

People used to use these for that purpose

You can still find them inexpensively on the internet

Good Idea, I use this site.

https://www.wheel-size.com/calc/?wheel1=225-75-16X7ET31&wheel2=225-75-18X8ET40&fcl=50mm&wcl=30mm&scl=50mm&sr=0mm

and here is some info too
