Retiring middle income grandma of 7, looking for the most reliable new suv. Dependability is foremost. Looking at Rav ,crv, outback, mazda cx5 and at the top$$ the volvo cx90 and slightly used rx 350. Would appreciate your opinion . Thanks new member.

Get the new RAV4 or the slightly used RX350 after a reputed mechanic checks the car out.
I wouldn’t get the new CR-V with the 1.5L turbo engine as they have oil dilution problems. If it has to be a CR-V, get a used one with the 2.0L naturally aspirated engine.
But from your list, if you want to buy new, get the new RAV4.

I would recommend the RX. Cozy and reliable.

Rav4 or used RX350 (have a mechanic check it out first) +1.

Grandma would be hard to please if she doesn't like the RX350.
