Has Chrysler improved their quality over the past few years? What are your thoughts on them pairing the 3.6 pentastar engine with the new 9 speed auto transmission? I like the look of it over other minivans and the second row sto and go, but not sure I trust Chrysler quality or attention to detail.
If anything, Chrysler quality has gotten worse.
Nope
Chrysler quality isn't that bad. The problem is that former Chrysler owners (any of their products) did not take care of their cars. I have a 2004 Town and Country 142k miles, zero mechanical issues.
Chrysler quality is awful. Some of their engines are OK but they are wrapped in the worst combination of electronic junk and cheap bodies.
The Pentastar is a fine motor, it can last some time with proper maintenance. https://www.thedrive.com/news/34672/check-out-how-surprisingly-durable-this-chrysler-pentastar-v6-is-after-626000-miles
Right you are. Too bad it's in a Chrysler. They are about as bad as Fiat. Oh wait, they ARE Fiat.
They are not fiat. Although Fiat is still in America (Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Maserati) Stellantis separated those brands into two separate parts Stellantis North America (Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM) and Stellantis Europe. Chrysler and Fiat are not on the same level.
Doesn't matter. Fiat and Chrysler are on the lowest rung of the ladder IMO.
Well the fact of the matter is, Fiat and Chrysler are 2 separate companies. While they may be owned by the same company they are both SEPARATE. You can keep your opinion on those companies but I am just saying facts.
Thanks for the "facts." They both suck.
I appreciate it. How long should a car last?
