Hey Scotty and Team!
I had a Chevy 2002 single cab 2 wheel drive for years and recently sold it.
I am looking for a new pickup, but not a huge hardcore one. The Ridgeline always looked interesting to me.
I will tow a small boat and run to Home Disappointment from time to time.
So I would prefer a decent riding pickup. My wife will drive it and we may take on road trips.
What do you think, I hear Honda quality is great! When is the best time to buy?
Thanks!
Keith
For a new car, this time of year is usually best to buy since dealerships have good sales going on. I would recommend a V6 Toyota Tacoma instead of that Ridgeline - Honda isn't really a truck company and the Ridgeline is based on the Pilot so it's not a true truck in my opinion. Tacomas are the best midsize trucks on the market and all Toyota trucks have a longstanding reputation as the best in reliability/durability.
Consider the SUVs (like Highlander) too. I understand that you look for a pick up truck but you will be much happier with a SUV if you do not need the space of pick up truck and want to do road trips.
