Scotty, I have a question about my '21 Prius Prime. It's got almost 1,800 miles on it; and with it being a PHEV I use the battery more than the engine due to my short commutes. When I use the engine it's usually a few weeks apart or so; but I notice upon startup the engine clunks a bit when the pistons go through the cylinders. Is it because the oil has pooled to the bottom of the engine in either the oil pan or motor itself and is circulating through? Any info would help. Thanks.
What does the dealer have to say, since you’re still under factory warranty?
I haven't taken it in yet. It's a lease so i won't most likely be keeping it because i want a car with a larger electric battery after my lease ends; but I'm going to schedule an appointment when I have time
