My truck has a hesitation when pulling out. Like it takes it a second to catch and then took off hard. When I’m at a drive through or stopped I can’t just ease on the fuel and ease up without fearing it will lurch forward. Also when slowing down to almost a rolling stop and turning onto another road it takes it a couple of seconds for the throttle to catch up to the transmission. Hope that makes sense. Sorry for the trouble. I have asked everyone I know and researched the problem and can’t find an answer. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Your vehicle is guaranteed to be free from powertrain defects for a period of 60 months (5 years) or 60,000 miles . Toyota is still responsible for diagnosing it and making it drive right so drive it on down to the dealership.
Scan it for codes, check the live data noting particularly odd changes at that range of rpm. Could be a clogged air filter, a weak fuel pump, a dirty throttle body. Scan for codes, check live data, simple stuff first.has a hesitation when pulling out. Like it takes it a second to catch and then took off hard
