We have had the Highlander since January 31, 2021. Then in October 2021 we had to bring it to the dealership because we feel some shaking when we try to push the brakes. After we got the car, it went back to normal. Then just last week after like 5 months, the trembling came back. So we brought it back to the dealership and we were told that they need to un do resurfacing instead of replacing the break pads, but this time they asked us to pay because as per the Service Advisor we have already used the warranty in October 2021 and it was the driver's fault for having the same problem. My point is if it was my husband's fault, we would have the same problem with our other cars, but that is not the case. We still have our 2015 camry xse (we got it brand new) and never had that problem. We got the Highlander as a brandnew car but how come this keeps on happening. I am afraid that the car will have the same problem after some time and I need to pay for the repair cost again. I would like to know what could be the main problem with our car.
- We're almost dealership just scumbags and yours is no exception. They're not standing by and they work there's nothing you can do I would go elsewhere anyone can do a brake shop heck they can buy brake pads and rotors at AutoZone for less than $100 total parts
