Hello scotty I took my 21 rave4 In for Its 2nd oil change it only has 8,000 miles. I was having the felling if I should change it my self and should have. five days later there was oil on my garage floor. ----.To make this short I took my car back to the dealer, got car back I asked what happen I was told I was a bad gasket. I asked if I caused any damage he said no of course. mad as hell I left the next day I said I need a work order, For my recodes incase. Well I call the service department and they won't call me back. I know you say get every thing in writing. I plan on going to the dealer and demanding a work order, do you have any advice. thx.

File a complaint to Toyota corporate.
They probably re-used the old oil drain plug washer and it failed to seal. That's a great way to destroy and engine for want of a 20 cent part.
You should have gotten all the paper work when you picked up your car. Didn't you get a receipt then?
I was so mad at that time I didn't think about it my bad.
What gasket? For the oil plug?
