Hello everyone! I’m excited to be part of this Scotty community.
I have done a lot of looking into the upcoming 2021 RAV4 Prime. The MPG and gas/electric combination makes this vehicle EXTREMELY appealing. The SUV style is something I would really like, and the MPG is highly appealing because I will be doing ride sharing with it.
HOWEVER, I heard that production for the North American region will he highly limited at around 5000 total units. This worries me because I’m worried about getting up charged with a bunch of fees and fewer non-sense. I worry that this might be a FJ Cruiser-type scenario and might appreciate in value due to limited availability and a very cool vehicle.
Are my thoughts justified? Should I be worried? How do I go about this if I really want this vehicle?
Yeah they do seem like pretty interesting vehicles but I'm sure the dealers will rape everyone and overcharge as much as possible and add every Bell and whistle to everyone they sell if they're only going to make $5,000 they're always that way my brother-in-law bought a Toyota previa van years ago and he had to go through three of them and he ended up with one that had mag wheels that he didn't even want but they just kept selling them all that crap.realize the Toyota motor company is pretty good but they have American dealerships that's actually sell the cars and they're not the most honest people on the planet
