Scotty, what is your opinion regarding the new 2023/2024 Chevrolet Colorado? I know you are not a fan of the 4 cylinder turbo, but I appears many vehicles are going to that. The reviews have been favorable, especially comparing the Colorado to the Tacoma. Your thoughts? Thank you.

More than likely those reviews don't take into account reliability and durability. (Most reviews concentrate on features/gadgetry.) Scotty has warned many times about GM quality being lacking, especially post-bankruptcy models.

Like Chuck Tobias mentioned the reviews has nothing to do with reliability it's more than that. Most reviews like to talk on trivial things like features, comfort, style blah blah rather than just reliability but really listen to a reputable mechanic who knows and have experience on cars on which is good or bad.
