2022 4runner low fuel light comes on with 1 gallon left in tank
I have a limited 2022 4runner. The low fuel light used to come on when the tank had 3.5 to 4 gallons left in the tank now it comes on with 1 gallon in the tank. In other words it used to take 16 gallons to fill the tank when the light came on and 20 if I ran it to the refuel point and now it takes 19. I bought this vehicle new in July 2022. This issue started Easter weekend 2023.
The dealer says they contacted Toyota and between the two of them they say there isn't a problem. I'm really hating this. Oh and the milage at this point is 22502 the issue started around 19k miles.
I read online others have this issue but non say that theirs had a change like mine.

Sounds like an issue with the sending unit in the tank. Assuming it is still under warranty don't rely on the dealer contacting Toyota (who knows what if anything the dealer told them), get hold of Toyota's corporate customer service department yourself and escalate it.
