- Hello,
I have 2022 Lexus UX 200 with CVT.
when should I change the CVT fluid? 30,000 or 50,000 miles? Should I change at Lexus dealer or independent auto shop with specialize Toyota and Lexus? I live in Los Angeles area. Thank you!

I would change every 30k miles to keep it nice and clean.
Avoid dealerships. They are adamant about "lifetime fluid", it's not lifetime fluid.
Once, when my wife brought her 2017 Mustang in for a transmission servicing through the dealer at 90k miles, the tech person swore up and down that you don’t need to change the fluid until 150k miles. She had the extended warranty. I asked if they honor the warranty if the transmission fails at 150k miles. Obviously, they wouldn't, so I forced them to change the fluid.
