2014 Jeep Cherokee

I’m having an issue with the electrical parking break service light coming on and it’s very annoying. Is there a way that I can bypass that by pulling a fuse or disconnecting the break module, and still drive it without it connected? I went to the dealership, and their charging me $941.00 dollars just to change, and I don’t never use it.

Do not go to a dealership for anything unless it's covered, warranty service.  Find an independent mechanic.

Thanks for the info. I will look into that

bypass the park brake? Do you think that's wise?

I’m not sure that’s way I was asking

It seems so obvious.
How will you keep your car from rolling away parked on a hill?
How will you stop the car if your brakes fail?
Cars aren't equipped with parking brakes for fun!

You could be having a wiring issue. Get a second opinion from an independent Mopar mechanic.

Thanks! I will look into that.

Most likely wiring issue, something simple, the dealership charge is very high...
