Can anyone tell me about the 3rd gen rav4 2006-2012. Did anyone own one? How was your experience with the car? Is there anything too look for in a 3rd gen rav4 used and how much should I be paying for a 2011 Rav4 limited v6?

That generation wasn't bad but there are years to avoid. My friend for example has an 06 and definetly avoid that. Avoid from 06-09 but the V6 from around 2011-2012 is pretty good. It depends on the miles but people overpriced them I saw one the other day listed for $17,500 but don't pay more than 8k is my opinion. Remember to have a mechanic do a pre-purchase inspection on it though.
