Hello Scotty

Hope you are doing great

i wanted to buy 3rd row suv, not looking for mini van, can you please shed some light on chevy traverse 2018 LT Leather package, if the engine and transmission is reliable!. I looked into highlander unfortunately with third row its is useless, because no cargo space left when the 3rd row is up, and 3rd row is only for little kids. Your opinion will make it easier

Thanks, regards

Mansoor

If you plan to keep for long term and put well beyond 100,000 miles I would avoid it.  GM quality has been on a downhill for a while, and besides the powertrain there can be electronics issues.  See @6:34 below.

I would not consider the Traverse. The build quality on those is subpar.

Take a look at the Honda Pilot.  The second generation Pilot seemed to have good 3rd row seating, and trunk space.  Not so sure about the third generation.  I conjecture they have at least the same space.  Unless of course you don't consider the Pilot midsize.

If you need three rows on a budget, I would consider either the Dodge Journey or Mitsubishi Outlander.

The Outlander SEL is very well equipped, and has been reasonably problem free.

The Dodge Journey V6 hasn't had that many issues, surprisingly. It is a blast from 2011, but I would consider those two before the Chevy.
