Extremely reliable if you take care of it.
The only issue those had was the spark plugs. Ford was still using a two piece design in those and they were known for breaking in half if you weren't careful removing them. I would go ahead and replace them with normal, single piece plugs when you have time.
But other than that, just drive it and enjoy it! Lots of parts available if you decide to customize it.
Thanks that's what are her to replace the spark plugs with one piece.I have turmeric 5-speed GLT cold air intake BBK throttle body pipes axle back H pipe. , custom tune by LITTO with 4.10 gears., Lowering springs etc.

It's one of the most reliable V8s for Mustangs. Most people who sell Mustangs with V8s usually beat them up. Have fun with the car while it last.
