Hi Scotty, big fan. I wanted to know i have a 2014 toyota corolla and it has 69,000 I already got a oil change. Do i need to get the car completely looked at as it is close to 70,000 miles. Nothing is wrong with it.

I think Scotty would recommend that you get a transmission fluid drain and refill (not flush), and drain and replace your coolant with fresh Toyota -recommended type coolant. Having somebody knowledgeable take a look at hoses, belts, tires or other anomalies wouldn't be a bad idea. It's always better to arrange to fix marginal items at your convenience, instead of waiting for things to fail on the road.

Take a look in the maintenance section of your owner's manual. It should tell you what you need there.

Of course it doesn't hurt to take it for a check-up either. The car deserves it after 70k.

You'd want to flush the brake fluid as well. It absorbs quite a bit of moisture over time and could potentially cause your brake lines to rust from the inside out. Should only cost about $120-$150 at a good mechanic.
