How do I fix a short circuit

Scotty,

Just got this car shipped across the country to me in AZ.  Apparently the is a short in the lighter/interior light 25A fuse.  Putting in fresh fuse burns out instantly.  Bought the ECT3000 per ur recommendation.  I get short signals under dash near steering wheel AND near driver door.  I see no melted wire or obvious signs of a short.  These wire harnesses are large and hard to get to.  I would hate to unwrap the wire bundles and start separating wires.  I don't know what to do.  Can I fly you out to Phoenix to find this short?  Once the short is found, I'm golden, but easier said than done, and I'm getting too old to stick my head under the dashboard for for hours.  Thx!

I've never heard of Scotty flying anywhere to work on anyone's car, but if you would like to contact him directly instructions for doing so are in the FAQ.
