Good morning sir.i have a question and been looking threw videos and forums and cant find an answer..i recently by my dream car which is a 79 el camino 350 with turbo transmission 2 door base..I've been trying to figure out how to hook up the dome light cause the wires were cut inside the driver side pillar..i found out how they wire together but not how to hook them up..any help would greatly appreciated.thank you sir
It looks like the orange wire is power from the courtesy light circuit fuse.
There's power at the bulb all the time.
The white wire is the ground from the 2 door switches and/or from the headlight switch when you turn on the dome light.
It would be a good idea to obtain a shop manual with wiring diagrams.
i found out how they wire together but not how to hook them up
twist the copper strands together and wrap it in electrical tape
