I found a good deal on a 91 bronco with 108,000 miles 5 speed 4wd, but the one thing stopping me from getting it or any vehicle after 76 is wiring, you can't find a wiring harness, I tried everywhere. In your experience how long can wiring last before it needs replacing?

Honestly getting a wiring harness for a Ford isn’t an issue at all. There are so many identical wiring harnesses in the junk yard if you can’t find them aftermarket. Bronco parts are pretty easy to find in online bronco forums.

if you don’t mind me asking, why do you feel like the wiring harness is going to be an issue? Are you worried about a mouse getting in there or are you more worried about trying to add things in?

I just sold my 95 Bronco with a 5.8 about 2 years ago and wiring was never the issue for me. The issue was the 8 miles per gallon and suspension issues.

Also, I just did a Google search for wiring harness 1991 Ford Bronco and had many options pop up. They aren’t cheap, but they are available.

@astafford
Where are the harness you searched, if your wondering why I'd want to replace it, well the vehicles 30 years old. And look at this for evidence as to my reason.
