Scotty my dad just bought a classic 91 Ford with only 88,000 miles needs to replace the solenoid and that’s it, is it worth it?

Well he already bought it. The problem with really old cars with low mileage is that means the car was sitting around for a long time without being driven most likely which is not good for cars at all they need to be driven or else they'll have problems.
